Pandora Office Graphics

The opportunity:

As Pandora expanded into offices across the country, architects thoughtfully designed each new space and then tapped our design team to fill in the blanks. It was our job to help define what makes a music company’s office fun and inspiring (besides free snacks and a foosball table).

The solution:

I lead the design of large-scale environmental graphics that transformed hallways, conference rooms, and common areas into vibrant, immersive spaces. In collaboration with art directors, visual designers, architects, builders, and print vendors, I infused the company’s culture of music obsession into every nook and cranny, often drawing inspiration from the unique music scene of each city.

Role: Sr. Lead Designer

After digesting an architect’s blueprint and identifying all blank walls, we sat down with members of our music curation team to name each conference room and determine which musical references to bring to life. Depending on the space, designs could be based on local artists, venues, song lyrics, or genres.

A smaller satellite office might only have space for 3-4 designs, while just one new floor in Oakland’s HQ could have 20-30 blank walls and windows to be filled.
