Pandora Presents The Stack
The opportunity:
In 2018, Pandora began introducing a select number of "franchise stations" to better engage with audiences of specific genres. Collaborating with our marketing and music curation teams, we set out to create and promote a new station tailored to Indie Rock listeners.
The solution:
I created an expressive and dynamic visual language that captured the experimental spirit of the Indie Rock genre. Applying this aesthetic across dozens of assets, I produced traffic-driving artist promos, digital ads for the launch event (a free concert in Chicago featuring Lord Huron and Jess Williamson), and other promotional materials. As a result, The Stack Radio now has 1.9 million monthly listeners.
Role: Sr. Visual Designer

Taking inspiration from the quirky, experimental nature of the Indie Rock genre, I created a brand identity rooted in cut-and-paste zines. Working closely with an art director, copywriter, motion graphics designer, audio producer, and our Indie Rock music curator, I landed on system that felt cohesive but could be tailored to fit the message of each deliverable.
